Symphony of Light - Famous light show in Hong Kong

Victoria Harbour has one of the most amazing sights of a trip to Hong Kong in China. Symphony of Light is an impressive daily light and sound show in Hong Kong. It is the largest light and sound show in the world, according to Guinness World Records.

Stunning display. Although Victoria Harbour has always impressed tourists, Victoria Harbour is even more striking since the introduction of the Symphony of Light in 2004. It is a compelling experience to watch this 10-minute performance of the building along the waterfront of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon.

Every night at 8:00 p.m., the outskirts of 33 of the city's main buildings glow with a multitude of vivid colours with the use of a wide range of lights to catch the eye. The best vantage points include the Avenue of Stars "Avenue of Stars" on the edge of Tsim Sha Tsui, the seaside promenade across from Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai or at it's even on ferries for sightseeing (eg, Star Ferry) across Victoria Harbour.

The music and the narration of the Show are displayed on the Avenue of Stars "Avenue of Stars" and on the boardwalk of Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai every night. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays the narration is in English, while in Mandarin on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and Cantonese on Sundays.

With the addition of several buildings on the Kowloon side, lights and lasers hit the harbor, setting the whole area in a dazzling display. A narration and a song are transmitted every night. On certain special occasions, the light display is complemented by a pyrotechnic display on the roof of some buildings. You can also take one of the cruises in the harbour and listen to the narration and music on board.
